Ingredients
Sweet Potato Fries
- 1 (19-ounce) package Frozen Sweet Potato Fries
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
Buffalo Chicken
- 1/2 lb. Chicken Breast (cubed)
- 1/3 cup Hot Wing Buffalo Sauce
Toppings
- 1 cup Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Blue)
- 2 Green Onions (diced)
- 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the sweet potato fries to a crispy texture.
- Arrange Fries: Spread the frozen sweet potato fries out in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even crisping.
- Bake Fries: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the fries for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Cook Chicken: While the fries bake, heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken breast and cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is no longer pink inside and is golden on the outside.
- Add Buffalo Sauce: Pour the hot wing buffalo sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet and cook for an additional 1 minute to blend the flavors.
- Assemble Fries: Remove the baked sweet potato fries from the oven and top them with the buffalo chicken mixture evenly.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle the cheese of your choice over the buffalo chicken-topped fries.
- Melt Cheese: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted thoroughly.
- Garnish and Serve: Take the loaded fries out of the oven, sprinkle diced green onions on top, drizzle with ranch dressing, and serve immediately while warm and melty.
Notes
- Use any shredded cheese you prefer, such as cheddar for a sharp flavor, mozzarella for mild creaminess, or blue cheese for a tangy kick.
- For extra crispiness, toss the fries with a little more oil before baking.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to suit your preferred spice level.
- This dish can be made gluten-free if the buffalo sauce and ranch dressing are certified gluten-free.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer to maintain crisp texture.
