These Caesar Wraps combine tender grilled chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, crunchy croutons, and creamy Caesar dressing all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Perfectly seasoned and optionally toasted for extra crunch, these wraps make a delicious and satisfying meal ready in just 30 minutes.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 2 large chicken breasts (skinless, boneless)
  • Juice of 1 medium lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for pan
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Wrap Filling

  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup shredded or grated parmesan cheese (plus more to taste)
  • ¾ cup store-bought croutons (plus more to taste)
  • Store-bought Caesar dressing, to taste
  • 6 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Marinate Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to ¾ inch thick. Place chicken in a resealable bag and add lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Seal and shake to combine evenly. Let marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook chicken about 6 to 8 minutes per side until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from pan and let rest for 10 minutes. Dice the chicken.
  3. Prepare Filling: In a large bowl, combine diced chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, parmesan cheese, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Toss well to mix evenly.
  4. Heat Tortillas: Microwave the tortillas for 10 to 15 seconds to make them more pliable for folding.
  5. Assemble Wraps: Place a portion of filling on top of each tortilla without overfilling. Fold in the left and right sides, then fold from the bottom up and roll tightly to seal.
  6. Optional Toasting: For a crispy finish, melt butter or warm olive oil in a hot skillet. Toast the wraps for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Serve: Cut wraps in half if desired and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to a safe 165°F internal temperature.
  • For extra flavor, add freshly ground black pepper and more parmesan cheese to taste.
  • If you prefer a gluten-free option, substitute flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps and use gluten-free croutons.
  • Wraps can be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator without toasting; toast just before serving.
  • Leftover Caesar dressing can be used as a dip for extra zest.
