Ingredients
Oreo Crust
- 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies (regular or holiday-themed)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Cream Cheese Layer
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pudding Layer
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
Additional Toppings
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for extra fluffiness)
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or mini M&Ms (for garnish)
- Red and green sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
- Extra whole Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the Oreo Crust: In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until finely crushed, reserving some for topping. Combine the crushed Oreos with melted butter, mixing until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust. Set aside.
- Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust in the baking dish.
- Make the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with milk thoroughly. Let the pudding sit for about 2 minutes to thicken. Once set, spread the pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with Marshmallows (Optional): For added fluffiness, sprinkle mini marshmallows evenly over the pudding layer.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 3 hours to allow the layers to set firmly, making slicing easier.
- Garnish and Serve: Before serving, decorate the top with crushed peppermint candies or mini M&Ms, festive red and green sprinkles if desired, and extra whole Oreos for a festive finish. Slice into squares and enjoy your Christmas Oreo Lasagna!
Notes
- Use holiday-themed Oreos for a more festive appearance if available.
- To make this dessert extra fluffy, do not skip the whipped cream step in the cream cheese layer.
- The dessert should be chilled for at least 3 hours but can be refrigerated overnight for best results.
- If you prefer a less sweet dessert, adjust the powdered sugar or marshmallows accordingly.
- This dessert is best served cold directly from the refrigerator.
