Delightful truffles made from Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes coated in creamy white chocolate and decorated with festive sprinkles, red candy drizzle, and green sanding sugar. These no-bake treats are easy to prepare and perfect for holiday celebrations or any festive occasion.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

Cake and Mix-ins

  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 3 tablespoons Festive sprinkles

Coating and Decoration

  • 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts (for drizzling, optional)
  • Green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake Crumbs: Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them into a large mixing bowl. Using a handheld mixer, blend the cakes until a crumbly dough forms, then mix in the festive sprinkles evenly throughout.
  2. Shape the Truffles: Using a tablespoon, scoop portions of the crumb mixture and roll each between the palms to form smooth balls. Place these cake balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Continue until all the dough is used.
  3. Melt the White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in short intervals or use a double boiler, stirring frequently until fully smooth and melted.
  4. Coat the Cake Balls: Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, making sure it is completely coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt the Red Candy Melts: Place the red candy melts into a piping bag or a ziplock bag and microwave in 30-second increments, massaging the bag between each heating until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Drizzle and Decorate: Snip the tip of the piping or ziplock bag and drizzle the red candy melts over the white chocolate-coated truffles. Immediately sprinkle green sanding sugar on top for decoration.
  7. Set and Serve: Refrigerate the decorated truffles for a few minutes to allow the coatings to harden. Once set, enjoy your festive truffles!

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • For a different flavor, try using dark or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate.
  • If you don’t have red candy melts, colored drizzle can be omitted or replaced with any other colored candy melts.
  • Make sure the truffles are well chilled before dipping for best coating results.
