Ingredients
Fruity Pebbles Treats
- 1 pan of Fruity Pebbles Treats (approximately 9×13 inches)
Candy Coating
- 1-2 packages of vanilla CandiQuik candy coating (about 8 ounces each)
Other
- Paper straws, cut in half (quantity depends on number of pops)
- Additional crushed Fruity Pebbles for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Treat Bars: Allow the Fruity Pebbles Treats to fully set in their pan, then cut them into bar-sized pieces suitable for forming into balls around the paper straws.
- Form the Pops: Cut paper straws in half and carefully shape each Fruity Pebbles Treat bar piece around the straw, forming a ball-shaped pop that sticks securely to the straw.
- Melt the Candy Coating: Melt one package of vanilla CandiQuik candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth and fluid.
- Dip the Pops: Dip each formed Fruity Pebbles Pop thoroughly into the melted CandiQuik coating, ensuring it is fully covered, then place it on waxed paper to set.
- Add Colorful Topping: While the coating is still wet, sprinkle the tops of the dipped pops with crushed Fruity Pebbles to add an extra splash of color and texture.
- Harden the Coating: Allow the candy coating to harden completely at room temperature until set and firm to the touch.
- Melt Additional Coating as Needed: If running low on melted CandiQuik during dipping, gently melt more as needed to maintain a smooth coating for dipping all pops.
Notes
- Use waxed paper to prevent sticking while the coating hardens.
- Make sure Fruity Pebbles Treats are fully set and firm before cutting and shaping.
- Paper straws can be replaced with lollipop sticks if preferred.
- Store finished Pebbles Pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
