Ingredients
Dough and Filling
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
Seasoning and Serving
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Prep Dough: Separate each biscuit from the can. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten each biscuit slightly into small circles to hold the filling.
- Fill: Place a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese and mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough circle, ensuring not to overfill.
- Form Bombs: Fold the edges of the dough up around the filling to enclose it completely, pinching the edges tightly to seal and form a ball shape.
- Season: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this flavorful mixture evenly over each dough ball for a tasty crust.
- Bake: Place the sealed dough balls with the sealed side down onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your delicious pizza bombs!
Notes
- Make sure to pinch the dough edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking during baking.
- You can substitute pepperoni with other pizza toppings like cooked sausage or veggies if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- If you don’t have mini pepperoni, cut regular pepperoni slices into smaller pieces.
- Serve immediately for best taste as the cheese inside is best enjoyed melted and warm.
