Ingredients
Crust
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Filling
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 7 oz marshmallow fluff (1 jar)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
Toppings
- Fresh berries
- Mini marshmallows
- Chocolate shavings or drizzle
- Crushed graham crackers
Instructions
- Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined and holds together. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust. Place in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling; chilling helps the crust set firmly.
- Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer. Add the marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract, then mix until the mixture is creamy and fully combined. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping to keep the mixture light and airy, taking care not to deflate it.
- Assemble the Cheesecake: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the chilled crust in the springform pan. Use a spatula to smooth the surface for an even look. Cover the pan with plastic wrap to protect the cake from fridge odors and moisture.
- Chill to Set: Refrigerate the assembled cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow it to fully set and develop the perfect texture.
- Decorate and Serve: Just before serving, remove the plastic wrap and add your preferred toppings such as fresh berries, mini marshmallows, chocolate shavings, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Carefully release the springform pan ring, slice the cheesecake into servings, and enjoy your no-bake dream dessert.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
- You can substitute graham cracker crumbs with digestive biscuits if preferred.
- Marshmallow fluff can sometimes be found in the baking aisle or specialty stores.
- Store leftover cheesecake covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Chilling time is crucial; don’t skip or shorten it to ensure the cheesecake sets properly.
