Ingredients
Chicken Marinade
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
Broth and Sauce
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
- 4 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Combine soy sauce, chili sauce, and honey in a bowl. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces and coat thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavor.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides and fully cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
- Sauté Garlic and Paprika: Add minced garlic and paprika to the pot with the chicken. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant but not burnt.
- Add Broth and Noodles: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to package directions, usually about 3-4 minutes, until noodles are tender.
- Make Creamy Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and reduce heat to a simmer. Let it cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Ladle the creamy garlic ramen into bowls. Garnish generously with sliced green onions and serve hot for a comforting meal.
Notes
- Marinating the chicken for at least 30 minutes enhances the flavor significantly.
- Use fresh garlic minced finely to get the best aroma and taste in the sauce.
- Adjust the chili sauce quantity to your preferred spice level.
- You can substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth for a lighter option.
- For a dairy-free version, replace heavy cream with coconut cream.
